Let It Come

The streets of Paris were filled with all sorts of humans who were busy doing one thing or another on the warm spring day. More then just humans roamed the streets of the beautiful city, though. The creatures of myth and fable, the creatures of the night and of horror stories also walked the streets of Paris.

One of those creatures of the night was a vampire who looked no more then twenty-five. His chin length black hair was a mess and it kept on moving to cover his awfully captivating light blue eyes and so as he sat down on a bench he kept on moving his hair out of them.

The vampire, who was extremely good-looking as all vampires happened to be, was watching as human girls passed by, scouting them out while decided which to make his next meal. He had not eaten in nearly a week and was starting to really become hungry. He needed food before he started to get sick. When a vampire went too long without blood, their throats started to feel like they were on fire, and in time the vampire would pass out and not wake up until they had blood in their system again. It was usually not a very pretty thing.

On top of him being thirsty and needed blood soon before that made him ill, he also needed to get out of them sun before that caused any problems. It only took a few hours in direct sunlight to start making a vampire ill and by about three the vampire would be dead, really dead.

He countiuned to watch the streets as females walked by, trying to find a shady place to sit. Maybe he was too picky of an eater. Perhaps he needed to just start hunting the first woman he saw instead of waiting for the perfect one to make diner, or in this case, lunch.

Emma was a 5.6 tall girl. She had long black hair, light aqua eyes, plus had a perfect body. She turned into the shade away from all the people. Emma was a vampire but she smelled like a human. As Emma walked she turned into a alley like thing. She was off work for a week and she did not want to be found or get a call saying she needed to come in and fill someones place at work. Her plan was to go hide and not be found into a week was up.

The vampire smiled as he saw Emma walk into the alleyway, knowing that she would make the perfect victem. She was already in a dark place, so he would not have to deal with chasing her into one. He got up from the bench and made his way down they alleyway, a smile on his face. "Now, where are you?"

Emma could sense that someone was following her, and it was not a human it was another vampire. Emma started to walk a little faster not sure if this vampire thought she was a human or it was a vampire that did not his own kind. And Emma had a friend in here to she was going to meet up with but there was a problem, she was a human. Emma's friend name was Rosemarie. Rosemarie had long brown and black hair, light Green eyes. Emma didn't want to a friend in danger, so she stop in the middle of the alleyway hoping her friend did not walk to her. Rosemarie saw her friend stop in the middle, so Rosemarie started to walk towards her. No, no she whispered to Rosemarie stop where you are. Why? She whispered back to to Emma before stopping two feet away from her. Emma did not anwser her question she turned around to get a look at the person. She saw the person was a male vampire. Great she thought to herself as she turned around to face her friend. Keep walking, she told her friend in a low voice. Ok she said back, then turned around and walked about one foot away from her before tripping and hitting her head on a rock and passing out. Emma shook her head at her friend what a loser, she thought to herself.

Ralph froze in place when he saw that the female he had been interested in making his next meal was not alone. ~Brilliant, completely wonderful, ~ he thought to himself. He could not attack her now. A big rule of hunting was to have no witnesses. It was only moments later when her friend tripped and passed out, and a smile came to his flawless face. ~Much better~, he thought as he walked towards Emma, "Hello."

Hi, she said back to him not sure what to do but she was shocked though. Oh... I don't want to be rude, but I got to go, she said as started to turn around to walk away. Emma was going to grab her her friend and leave.

"No, you are not going anywhere," Ralph informed Emma with a smirk. In the next moment he had her pinned against the back wall of the alley. His eyes turned from being sky blue to black as night and he smiled once more at her, this time showing off his fangs. "At least not while you are alive."

~ Great now he is going to try to eat me I wonder how this is going to work out~. I don't think I would taste she told he. And once his eye went black she knew he was hungry.

Ralph was too busy thinking about biting Emma to pay any attentions to her thoughts. He looked her over one more time before sinking his fangs into her neck. As soon as her blood hit his tounge he backed away and spit out the blood, "Gross."

She shook her head at him, I told you I would not taste good as a human would. Well you should have listen to me. She looked at her friend, then back at him. then smiled showing her fangs. She was offering her friend blood to him, she just didn't say it.

"Well, I was not paying any attention," Ralph growled, fusterated with the fact that she was not a human. She had not smelled like a vampire, not had she moved like one, so what was he supposed to think? He had been too focused on eating to care about her words or her thoughts.

He looked at her friend when she did, and he understood right away what Emma was offering. He was not one to have much interest in prey that would not fight back, but he was thirsty. He took a step closer to her friend, but then he stopped moving as a smell familier to him hit his nose.

"Raphael, don't you dare touch her. If you are thirsty I have blood at home," a blonde haired and blue eyed vampiress called out. She was stunningly beautiful. She could make any human super model look ugly, and any other vampire look plain and average.

Emma looked at her and then her friend. She shook her head at her friend who was still past out on the ground. She walked over to her putting her fangs away. Then she turned around and looked at Ralph. She had know idea how she was going to explain what had happen to her.
